I've read and enjoyed most of her 'Harmless Series' although, I must say she has several other series available. A Little Harmless Fascination is the seventh book in this series.

About the story:
Connor Dillon is a Security Expert who is uptight and runs life on a schedule. He is a mentally unbending type of man (although, physically he bends quite well, he he he *insert evil grin*). But when he pushes his stress level too hard, his sister insists he take a vacation. She sends him to Hawaii to rent the garage apartment above Jillian Sawyer who has actually been a family friend for years. Jillian just so happens to be an author of all things erotic. She lives her life care fee and at her own pace which in the beginning is quite annoying to Connor.
Unbeknown to Connor, Jillian has secretly had a crush on him for years. There is obviously a physical attraction which builds quite quickly. And soon, Jillian gets a taste of what she writes about. But not before being forewarned by Connor.

She had been right. He had been flirting with her. That thought made most of her brain melt on the spot. When she finally gathered enough of her wits to answer, he'd moved closer, resting his hand on her car behind her. She could smell him, that musky scent of his aftershave and…Conner. It took all her control not to lean in and sniff him.
“Yeah. But then, I know just how fast to go.”
His expression hardened and even in the dim light, she could see the flush on his cheeks. Knowing she was getting to him had her libido revving out of control.
“Do you know what you’re messing with?”
She slipped closer. “I think that’s who not what.”
His mouth curved. He slid his arm around her waist pulled her close and kissed her.
At first the kiss was gentle, then he deepened it, plunging his tongue between her lips. Everything in her yearned, wanted, needed. This man had been hitting all the points for days and now, she craved him.
He moved and pressed his body against her. She would have to be dead not to feel his erection.
By the time he pulled back, her head was spinning and her heart was beating so hard, she thought she might pass out. Lord, the man was deadly with his mouth.
“Answer me one question.”
She couldn’t seem to open her eyes.
“Jillian, open your eyes.” When she didn’t respond, he snapped out, “Now.”
She did as he ordered before she even thought about it.
“Were you at Rough ‘n Ready for fun or was it really research for a book?”
She smiled knowing it would irritate him. She wanted to push him just to see his reaction and it would do to her. “A little of both.”
He didn’t like that answer. She could tell by the way his eyes narrowed as he studied her. “I don’t think you know what you’re getting yourself into.”
“Why don’t you tell me about it, Conner.”
She heard the challenge in her voice, knew that she was definitely hitting some hot buttons for him.
He crowded her against her car again. The heat of him surrounded her and she wanted another kiss. Another taste of the paradise she knew he would be able to offer her. Conner leaned down.
When his mouth was within a centimeter of hers, he said, “When you want to do more than play games, you let me know, Jillian.”
Yeah. After that, I can't tell you anymore other than to be sure you have a glass of ice and/or a glass of wine when you read it. And, be prepared to mark out time in your schedule because this is a 'can't put it down' read. TOTALLY...
My eyes are still steaming from it. And, I'm somewhat scorched in other places too. *insert another evil grin*
