Quirks Post; Play along, won'tcha?

This is a Quirk's post. I hope y'all play along.

1) I rearrange the eggs.

I was just rearranging the eggs in the egg carton after selecting two to scramble up for Farmer, Jr. Why was I rearranging them? I don't know. It is just something I've always done. I like the carton to look and feel balanced. Sometimes...I'll even use an extra egg -- just so that the carton balances out right.

Ya'll already know how I feel about the butter and peanut butter from This Post.

I'm a sock/sock, shoe/shoe Gal.

Toilet Paper; most of y'all already know how adamant I am about this from this post: Under or Over.

As for now, I'm off to start the rest of my morning. I'll check back later to see what quirks the rest of you choose to share! ;-)

Happy "QUIRKY" Monday! Make it a fun one!

GAL = QUIRKY!
How can I top the whole eggs thing? This is a GREAT idea Gal, OK, here goes:
My wife was noticing the other day that as I ate my beans and rice etc, I keep pushing the food into a tidy pile on left side of my plate. So, its like a half moon, then becoming a smaller half with each bite. Goodness, what odd genetic defect makes me do THAT?

You know how some rooms in the house have two light switches that control the same light? They're usually on different ends of the room depending on which side you enter from. I have to have them both in the off position when the lights are off. If you come in from one side and turn it on, then go out the other end and turn it off, both switches are up, right? That drives me crazy and I have to fix it when I get a chance.

One question on the egg thing - Why not just take the eggs out of the center so it's already balanced and then you can skip the step of rearranging them?

Ok, I missed the Peanut butter issue so I'm off to read that one! Happy Monday.

Debbie! Totally get you on the light switches! We have several that work from one end of the room or the other.

Drives me crazy when someone flips one from the wrong side and they don't match! TOTALLY get you on this one!

I smell all my food before i take a bite. even if its something i've eaten a million times, gotta take a sniff.

Krish! That reminds me of Robert on 'Everybody Loves Raymond". LOL! He always had to touch his food to his chin, LOL!

I do the egg thing. Part of the reason not to leave the eggs in the ends of the carton is that they're more likely to get crushed (in the front of the fridge) or frozen (in the back).

My whole family does the light-switch thing, too. I'm trying to break that habit!

I make sure that all the labels are always facing forward in the pantry/cabinets in the kitchen, bathroom, you name it. ALWAYS facing forward! Yikes... sounds like ocd huh?

zoom, thanks for visiting! Nothing wrong with organization; I like the nutritional information all pointing out.... They all match that way and it's always good to know what you are eating!

Oh where oh where should I begin:

* Single handle faucets always have the handle aligned with the faucet.

* All labels face front in both pantry, fridge and cabinets.

* Toilet lids down at all times.

* Closet door must be closed before I go to bed.

* Don't like my food to touch.

OK, I think I've proved my OCD badge. :-)
