I MADE the COVER!!!!

HOWDY Y'ALL! I MADE THE COVER!! (See above? Big Kids and Booster Seats? I wrote that!)
My internet has been out since yesterday late afternoon/evening! Grrrr! And, my cell phone wasn't loading all things properly either. So, I've been having a bit of withdrawals. AND, I'm behind on all the things I need to get done -- via the cyber world.
I so hope it is back up when I get home.
(Currently, I'm working from the gymnastics center while Farmer, Jr. writes out his spelling words.)
So, I MADE THE COVER! My article is listed on the cover of Austin Family!!! The article is about the new Booster Seat law that went into effect here in Texas this September 1st. It increases the booster seat requirements from five years of age to 8 years old or 4'9. If you are curious about more details, click through to the article.
FYI, Texas is one of the last States to 'instate' this change.
There are several ways to link it up...You can read it here: Austin Family; Big Kids in Booster Seats! However, the link below has the published version, with pictures and formatting.
Or, HERE. Just click through the pages. I'm actually published on page 32. :-)
I'm so super-DUPER thrilled! Thank you to Melanie, the editor, for the opportunity! And, thank you to Krishna for the 'hook-up' that Melanie was looking for writers!
Well, I have to get back with Farmer, Jr. He is less than thrilled about spelling words/vocabulary/math/school period. *sigh* It's like pullin' teeth!
I'm hoping to have the internet back up at home so I can hopefully catch up with my blog reads and all after dinner, bath and bed for the kids!
Happy Tuesday!

Very exciting.....I hope you're getting several copies!
My daughter is tiny...even in the 4th grade she only weighed 49 pounds and I would try to put her in a booster seat...NO DICE!
It's a good law~

Maybe have Farmer, Jr., listen to President Obama's speech to school kids? It's a good one. (I think he motivated mine to do their homework tonight.)

Thanks Y'all for all the support!

FYI, for anyone wondering what anon said up there, I finally translated it. True, I knew it to be spam. But, I became suddenly interested while trying to distract myself from a very unhappy 7yo doing his homework...

"If the physician knows the name of your illness, it does not mean that he knows what it is. Never ascribe to human malignancy that can be explained by ordinary stupidity. A man may live long on the money that he waits. Reality is an illusion caused by lack of alcohol. Women eat for talking, men eat been doing."

Yeah... Thank anon. :-)
